Six axes, then a composite
Plot structure, character, dialogue and voice, theme and tone, coverage, and additions restraint. Each is 0 to 100, higher meaning more of the source is still true. The composite is the plain mean, printed with its method. A low number is not a bad adaptation.
02
The mapping table
Every issue, chapter, or arc of the source, and where it lands on screen. Omitted units stay in the table. This is the evidence.
03
The change log
What was cut, condensed, invented, merged, or kept when a softer adaptation would have flinched. Each row says why it matters and who decided, when that is sourced. This is the argument.
